Over the past 9 years 72% of Lessons in the Post pupils taking the 11+ have been offered a place at a selective state Grammar School. This is free education of the highest standard.
100% success rate
Every year several Lessons in the Post pupils also apply to take selection exams for places at fee paying independent schools. In the last 9 years every pupil who has attempted to gain a place at an independent school has been successful. Over a third of our independent school applicants have been offered scholarships, some as high as 50% (meaning a fee reduction of 50%). Our highest ever scholarship offered was 80%, in 2004.
